Nick Jones is a leadership and organisational performance advisor who works with leaders and leadership teams to strengthen leadership capability, improve team effectiveness and create the alignment that underpins sustained organisational performance.

His approach is informed by more than two decades of experience across law, military leadership and organisational development. Nick spent 13 years as a commercial disputes lawyer in leading New Zealand firms and an international Magic Circle firm in Dubai, developing a strong foundation in judgement, strategic thinking and working alongside senior decision makers.

He has also built a senior leadership career in the New Zealand Army, where he currently serves as a Lieutenant Colonel and the Army's senior advisor on Reserve Force career and talent management. He recently commanded a reserve force infantry battalion and has held leadership responsibilities across executive, operational and overseas environments where trust, accountability and performance are essential.

Over the last decade, Nick has partnered with senior leaders across professional services, government and growth organisations to strengthen leadership capability, improve team effectiveness and build organisational performance. His work combines practical experience with evidence-based approaches to leadership, coaching and team development.

Known for his curious, relational and outcomes-focused style, Nick brings a unique perspective shaped by careers in commercial law, military leadership and organisational development. He believes that organisations rarely outperform the quality of their leadership and relationships, and that enduring performance is achieved through people, culture, and the disciplined execution of strategy.
